Born July 1, 1914 in Los Angeles, California.
Attended elementary and high school in Oxnard.
Competed four years in football at Oxnard High School selected all conference and team captain in his senior year. Also competed in basketball and track and was outstanding in both sports.
1934-35 Ventura Junior College, all conference in football 2 years and was captain of the basketball team.
1936-37 Santa Barbara State Teachers College all conference in football 2 years and also participated in basketball, rugby and baseball.
Oxnard 1940 coached basketball and baseball at Oxnard High School.
1947-48 Coached Semi-professional football in Oxnard.
1947 Inducted into University of California at Santa Barbara’s Sports Hall of Fame.
