Coached basketball at Ventura Junior High School 1944-64

Assistant football coach at Ventura Junior High School 1944-53

OFFICIATING CAREER

Basketball official 1944-72. High school and college football official 1944-85. High school and college track starter 1954 to present time.

Organized first Ventura County Officials Association in 1949 and was the first president.

Appointed the C.I.F. Commissioner of officials for Ventura and Santa Barbara areas in 1953.

C.I.F. area assignment coordinator for 39 years.

C.I.F. area liaison to represent officials association and athletic leagues in this area. This includes the Channel, Marmonte, Frontier, Tri-Valley and Condor Leagues.

Conducted numerous basketball clinics throughout C.l.F. Southern Section.

Recipient of the Southern California Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Merit Award 1986

Recipient of C.I.F. Southern Section Award for exemplary efforts in the field of high school athletic administration in 1985.

Recipient of a special award from the Ventura County Coaches Association in 1985.

Presently an observer for the Western Collegiate Football Conference

Commissioner of officials for baseball for U.C.S.B. and Westmont College
