Attended USC. Dental School and practiced dentistry for 53 years in Oxnard.
A member of the Camarillo Rifle Team.
A member of the California State Rifle Team for 15 years.
In 1933 he was State Rifle Champion.
In 1941 at the National Championships at Camp Perry, Ohio, he made a record score that still stands – 484 out of a possible 500.
At Camp Perry, Ohio, he also won the Distinguished Rifle Badge for high individual and team score.
