Jack “Moose” Myers

Pro Football and College Coach

Lettered in five sports at Ventura High School. Football, Basketball, Baseball, Track and Tennis.

At U.C.L.A. he was the starting first baseman, leading hitter and M.V.P. of the baseball team.

He played fullback for the football team and played in the 1947 and 1948 Rose Bowl games.

Named to the All Coast team in football.

Played fullback and linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles of the N.F.L.

Most Valuable Player for the Eagles in 1950.

Named to the N.F.L. All Star Team 1949, 50, 52.

Played fullback for the Los Angeles Rams team that won the Western Division Playoffs in 1952.

Head Coach of the College of the Pacific

Backfield coach for the San Francisco 49ers.
