Born In Jerome, Arizona on September 7, 1926.
Educated in Jerome schools graduating from Jerome High School in 1944. Attended Arizona State College graduating in 1949.

COACHING CAREER
Started coaching at Wilson Junior High School in Oxnard in 1952. Also coached at Haydock Junior High School and Camarillo High School before coming to Santa Clara High School in 1958.
