Won the A.I.A.W. Championships in the 50 yard freestyle in 1974, the 100 yard freestyle in 1974, and the 100 yard freestyle in 1975
Received the Arizona State University Outstanding Athlete Award in 1976
Elected to Arizona State University Hall of Fame in 1980
Competed in World University Games in Moscow, Russia in August 1973 winning the gold medals in the 100 meter freestylee, the 400 meter freestyle relay and the 400 meter medley relay
